Kristin Fisher joined CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent team in the month of July 2021. In this role, Fisher will cover everything including NASA's recently-created Space Force to commercial space business and the emergence of space tourism. Kristin's parents are each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now been a White House reporter for FOX News that covers the Trump and Biden Administrations regarding space-related issues. The reporter also reported on the presidential election in 2020 and efforts by two administrations to fight the coronavirus. In addition, she went on trips with President Trump and Vice President Biden frequently. The trip included a shady trip to Afghanistan. Before being hired by the channel in the year 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade working her way up through the local news channels which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won an Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin's skills as a camerawoman led her to found Field Mouse Films which specialized in making documentaries for corporate customers such as Uber Hotels & Resorts, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned a bachelors in Science of Journalism at Boston University. She and her husband, who is three years old, daughter live in Washington, D.C.
